Journal of Bone & Joint Surgery (JBJS)

JBJS is a biweekly medical journal for orthopedic surgery. They are considered the gold standard in peer-reviewed scientific information in the field, and have been for the past 125 years. 

Working closely with their head of marketing, my job was to develop a new creative strategy to modernize the way the brand presented content and encourage subscriber engagement. Starting with weekly email campaigns, I began by moving away from their previous plain text designs and infusing the sends with their bright branding colors and captivating imagery. The results were immediate, with substantial increases in their CTA, open rates, and revenue.
